McKenna Churchill
Assistant Coach – HEAT 13 ELITE
Coach McKenna brings 10 of volleyball expertise, combining experience as both a competitive player and dedicated coach. As a former athlete, playing club for Peak, Charge and Edmond North HS, she developed a passion for the game early on and has since focused on mentoring athletes to reach their fullest potential.
At the core of Coach McKenna’s philosophy is the belief that great players are built not only through skill development but also by fostering teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Coach McKenna also strives to create an environment where athletes feel empowered to challenge themselves and grow both on and off the court.
She emphasizes the importance of fundamentals, mental toughness, and communication to prepare athletes for the demands of high-level competition.
Outside of volleyball, Coach is also a student at the University of Oklahoma. She will be graduating in December of 2024 with her degree in accounting. During the volleyball season Mckenna will be working in the accounting field while starting her masters program.
