Kimo Aweau
Head Coach – 15 National (Kimo)
Director of Player Development
The OKC Heat is excited to announce the addition of Coach Kimo Aweau! Kimo was previously the Head Coach of Edmond North High School where he led the Huskies to Edmond North’s first ever State Title. He has been named both the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference Coach of the year (2015) and the Greater Metro Athletic Conference Coach of the Year (2018). Kimo has also coached several seasons with top club programs in the State before moving to New Jersey to help develop youth volleyball clubs in that region. Upon moving back to Oklahoma, Coach Kimo has stayed very active with volleyball by training players in private lessons and coaching camps and clinics throughout the State. As the new Director of Player Development we are excited that with the addition of Coach Kimo we will also be offering many camps and clinics throughout the season from the intermediate level up to advanced skills camps for seasoned players. Coach Kimo brings over two decades of elite level volleyball training with club and camp directing experience.
