Joey Fitz
Joey Fitz– HEAT 15 National Volleyball Coach & Official
Joey brings over 20 years of coaching experience across high school and elite club volleyball, with a proven track record of building competitive programs and developing high-level athletes. He was instrumental in launching the Westmoore High School volleyball program in 2003, helping lead the team to a Top 10 ranking in Class 5A within four years. Joey served as Head Coach at Bishop McGuinness (2009–2011), where he guided the team to a State Runner-Up finish in his first season. In 2014, he coached at Edmond Santa Fe High School, contributing to one of the premier volleyball programs in the state.
In 2016, Joey was the Assistant Head Coach at Mount St. Mary, contributing to a State Championship season. He has coached at respected club programs including Charge Volleyball Club and Kaizen Volleyball Club. While at Charge, he led the 14-1 team to one of the top rankings in the state and a National Tournament appearance. Throughout his career, Joey has developed numerous athletes who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level, including NCAA Division I programs.
In addition to coaching, Joey is a certified referee at the high school, club, and collegiate levels, bringing a comprehensive understanding of the game from multiple perspectives.
