Jay Sanchez
Jay has played volleyball for the last 9 years, starting at just 9 years old. With parents that coached both volleyball and basketball, sports have always been a part of his life. Jay’s passion is in exploring all volleyball has to offer. He has played competitive beach, grass and indoor volleyball.
This sport has taken Jay all over the United States. His favorite state being Florida where he competed in AVP’s East Coast Championship. In 2021, Jay was able to participate in the first ever men’s high school volleyball season at Edmond North High School. During this time, his team took runner up at State his junior and senior seasons.
Last year, Jay coached his first season for our OKC Heat 13’s and knew after he graduated high school that he wanted to make coaching a priority. With the skill, knowledge, and experience Jay has, he brings a lot to the table. Jay’s goal is to help the girls love this sport as much as he does while preparing them for what’s to come as they continue to grow in the sport.
