Ashlyn Wilkens
Coach Ashlyn “Ash” brings passion, grit, and a deep-rooted connection to OKC HEAT Volleyball as she steps into her role as Head Coach for the 2025-2026 12 Elite team. Last year Ash served as the Assistant Coach for the 17 Black team. A true HEAT veteran, Ashlyn’s journey began on the court where she set the pace—literally—as a standout setter for the 15-1, 16-1, 17-1, and 18 BLACK squads throughout her high school career.
Her leadership and skill helped power the OKC Storm Homeschool Volleyball team to a National Championship title in 2022, capping off her senior year with a bang. That same year, Ashlyn made history by becoming the first athlete in her class to sign an athletic commitment to Southwestern College in Winfield, KS—before she even hit her senior season.
After a strong freshman campaign at SC, Ashlyn continued her collegiate journey at Rose State College and now competes at Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, OK, where she’s pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business while continuing to dominate on the court.
From championship wins to coaching the next generation, Ashlyn’s story is one of dedication, leadership, and love for the game. OKC HEAT is proud to have her back as a mentor shaping the future of volleyball.
