Isabel Murphy

My name is Coach Murphy, and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to work with  the 14 Regionals team. This past season I stepped into coaching volleyball at Sequoyah Middle School, and loved everything about it. This season, my girls and I had an undefeated record of 16-0 and ended the season as Conference Champions. The last year Sequoyah went completely undefeated was 2017! I grew up playing Volleyball and Softball; However, I  shifted my focus to softball after my Freshman year. Even though I wasn’t actively playing, Volleyball was always in my life. I grew up in a Volleyball household, traveling to watch my sister, and learning more of the game with every set. I was born and raised in Edmond, and don’t see myself ever leaving! When I’m not coaching, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends! I enjoy doing anything outdoors because I usually get to bring my two fur babies with me!

Fun Fact: I once broke my elbow while playing hide and seek.
