REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS AND PRE-TRYOUT CLINICS
Players must first be registered with USA Volleyball. Registration for the 2025-2026 season opens Sept. 1, 2025. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER WITH USA VOLLEYBALL. (If a player chooses not to accept a position on a team for the 25-26 season, parents may request a refund of the USAV registration fee from the OKRVA. You can contact the OKRVA HERE.)
*Players will use their '24-'25 USAV number for tryouts taking place before Sept 1st.
USAV memberships generally operate on a September 1 to August 31 year calendar. This means that memberships purchased during this period are valid for that entire 12-month timeframe. However, some region-specific memberships or special categories may have different validity periods, such as the USAV Summer membership, which is valid from May 1st to October 31st.
Below are the steps to prepare for tryouts:
- Confirm your child's correct age group BEFORE registering for Pre-Tryout Clinics or Tryouts. (See info to confirm your child's age group.)
- Click on the Pre-Tryout clinic registration link to register and participate in one of the upcoming pre-tryout clinics for your child's age group. (Pre-Tryout Clinic Fee - $25)
- Click on the Tryout registration link to register for tryouts in your child's age group. (Tryout Fee - $65)
NOTE: Tryout registration has a field that requires your child's USA Volleyball membership number. Players who had a USAV # from last year may enter their number from 24-25 in the appropriate field. If your child didn't play last year, just enter "NA" for the USAV # field. However, all players must have registered with USA Volleyball for the 24-25 season by the time tryouts occur.

1. CONFIRM YOUR TRYOUT AGE
USA Volleyball has specific age group definitions based upon a player's birthdate. Registering in the incorrect age group could cause your child to miss the correct age group for HEAT VBC tryouts.
Click on the link below to confirm that your child is in the correct age group tryout. Then use the USAV Registration button to register your child.
Now that you are registered with USAV you will need to follow the link below to register your child for the Heat tryout event of your choice.

Pre-tryouts are a great way for your child to get on the court for practice and get a feel for the tryout environment and process before official tryouts dates! Once you click on the link below you must be logged in to SportsEngine to see the registration form.
