Sidnie Brown

Coach Brown joins OKC HEAT Volleyball bringing a strong background as both a collegiate athlete and experienced youth coach, along with a passion for developing players on and off the court. A four-year varsity starter at middle blocker, Coach Brown earned All-State and All-Tournament honors during her junior and senior seasons before continuing her volleyball career at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, where she competed at the collegiate level for two years. Following her playing career, Coach Brown began her career in education as a third-grade teacher while continuing to stay involved in the game through coaching. She has served as a head middle school volleyball coach and has experience as both a head and assistant club coach. During her time coaching in Bartlesville, she worked extensively with athletes on serve receive, setting, serving, blocking, attacking, and overall volleyball fundamentals. She has also helped lead youth volleyball camps focused on introducing younger athletes to the game and building a strong technical foundation. Coach Brown believes athletes develop best in an environment that combines high expectations, positive encouragement, confidence, and strong fundamentals. Her goal is to help each player become a better volleyball player, teammate, and competitor while developing a genuine love for the game. Outside of volleyball and the classroom, Coach Brown enjoys studying, hiking, and reading.

We are excited to welcome Coach Brown to the OKC HEAT family and look forward to the energy, experience, and passion she will bring to our athletes and program.
