Coach Kailani brings nine years of playing experience and six years of coaching experience to OKC HEAT. A former Libero/Defensive Specialist, she played high school volleyball in Austin, Texas, and competed at the club level with Austin Performance Volleyball, where she earned Most Valuable Player honors in back-to-back seasons. Kailani began her coaching career with Austin Velocity Volleyball Club, working with athletes ranging from ages 5–18 through club teams, camps, clinics, and player-development programs. Her coaching experience includes serving as Head Coach of a 12s Lite team, Assistant Coach of a 12s National team, and Co-Coach of a 13s Regional team. As a coach, Kailani places a strong emphasis on communication, volleyball IQ, strategy, and teamwork.
