Daron Chesley

Daron Chesley is the head coach of the HEAT 13 Elite South team and brings a dynamic coaching style built on accountability, fundamentals, and player growth. Born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma, Daron is a teacher at Irving Middle School, where she also serves as the head volleyball coach.

She has been coaching for over five years and has experience coaching both school and club volleyball, including multiple age groups. A former standout player at Norman High School, Daron played a variety of positions—outside hitter, setter, and middle blocker—giving her a well-rounded perspective on the game.

In the summer of 2024, Daron earned her Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, further deepening her commitment to teaching and athlete development.

Her coaching philosophy is rooted in building leaders both on and off the court, emphasizing responsibility, respect, and steady development throughout the season. Daron is proud to be part of the HEAT Volleyball Club and is excited to continue growing athletes into confident, competitive players.
